Hi Alice, thanks for the write back. I have seen this page and in fact have been to the north end of the battlefield before. Another great internet account is "The 11th Corps on July 1,1863" by D.Scott Hartwig. In the summer the corn is head high and the veiw is pretty much blocked. I have several reconstructed maps and one of them shows the brigade on or across the Mummasburg Rd. My question is whether they took the unfinished RR into town. Confederate reports for the different regiments in the brigade say little of the route. My main interest is the 12th Georgia.
