My g/g/grandfather, Homer Loomis mustered in at Hustisford WI. He was captured in Aug. 1862 and was shot in the knee plus other injuries and sent to a few prisons and wound up at a Civil War hospital in Philadelphia. He said it was at Broad and Cherry St. where he remained for 7 or 8 months. Could you give me the name of that hospital and where I might get his records there. He met a nurse there, Elizabeth Sheridan and they eventually married. Thank you for any help you can give. Ann Epstein
