Found info on the Pennsylvania 140th, Company A. Go to website (www.pa-roots.com), Home page says, "PA in the Civil War".
Next scroll down page till you see "Bates' History of PA Volunteers" listed on the left-hand side. Open this site that reads,
"History of PA volunteers - 1861-1865". Scroll down to Volume IV, click on Page 407 - 415 and read about 140th PA Volunteers.
I hope this is helpful..... My GGGfather is mentioned on page 409 and one of the wounded (Shallenberger).
