Re: 32 Ohio Inf Co G and 14 Ohio Cav Co G

Johnny Reb, Thank you for all the information. I am amazed everytime I look at the many battles and scirmishes in which regiments, such as this, participated. It almost seems logistically impossible that so much territory could be covered. I suppose the railroad helped with a lot of troop movement. Isaac Suttles was a prisoner at Andersonville from July 22 to Sept of 1864. I'm sure he would have preferred to be with his regiment, fighting anywhere, than to have been in Andersonville. He was also captured at Harper'sFerry, VA on Sept 15, 1862. After Andersonville, he spent the remainder of the war in hospitals. I continue to seek his descendants (I am not a descendant; I am a historian) which includes the surnames Mace, McBride, Patterson, Lutz, Ginter and Sulcer. Thanks, again, for your help! Elaine
