I am doing reseraching with the intention of writing a book on the batttle of Hartsville, Tennessee fought on 7 December 1862. The 106th and 108th Ohio Infantry were captured in the engagement. Outside of the Official Records, I am experiencing extreme difficulties in obtaining information on the two regiments participation in the battle. Any assisatnce such as diaries, memoirs, newspaper articles would be greatly appreciated, no matter how seemingly insignificant.
