My gggreat grandfather, William Field Hill, served as a 3rd Sgt. in Co. C., 168th Regiment, Ohio National Guard Infantry, at Camp Dennison, Ohio from May 12 to August 31, 1864. He enlisted on May 1, 1864 in Washington, Ohio. His residence at the time of enlistment was in Union, Nebraska.

I am trying to find out if William was in any battles, and if so, which one.
