Hello,

I am seeking information on any CS flags taken at Ft. Donelson by the 58th Ohio Infantry. There is a CS flag remnant at the Ohio Historical Society that is from one of the companies of the 23rd Mississippi Infantry who lost several company flags at Donelson when it surrendered. The 58th, 68th and 76th Ohio Infantry were the only Ohio troops at Donelson in February, 1862, so one of these regiments captured this flag.

Does any of research show any CS flags taken by the 58th Ohio there? Whitelaw Reid's book states they took at least one flag there.
