Lee...I did some more checking. At Spring Grove Cemetery, James E. Murdock is buried about 3 graves away from Thomas F. The elder died in 1893 at the age of 82. What is interesting is that he is listed in our SUVCW graves database as having served in the Federal Navy as a Captain. Apparently that came from GAR records.
