Eric,

Greetings! Sorry for taking so long, here is the info I have about my ancestor in Co. C,125th reg Ohio infantry. He enlisted Nov. 10, 1862 in the " Opdycke Tigers ", so called for their bravery displayed at the battle of Chicamauga. John A. Harwood was wounded twice, at the battle of Missionary Ridge, Nov. 25, 1863 and at the battle of Kenesaw Mountain, June 27, 1864. He continued his service until he was mustered out at Camp Irwin, Texas, Sept. 25, 1865. He married Olive Pierce of Farmington, Ohio and then moved to Southington , Ohio where he lived until his death on May 15, 1909.I forgot to include his birth date which was Aug. 27, 1845.

Respectfully Yours,

B. Harwood
