Wm H. Egle was buried at Wilson Cemetery aka King Settlement Cemetery in Alpena Co. In 2013 he received a new VA Civil War style headstone. Prior to the setting of that stone there was only a single family stone inscribed Egle. Several descendents gathered in July 2013 for a dedication ceremony.
