help in locating burial

I am searching for the final burial location of my gggg grandfather, Daniel Gleason. Private, 1st Michigan, Company E. Gleason died on Janaury 14, 1862, at Annapolis Junction,

Maryland and discharged, according to National Archives Military file, on January 14, 1865. In the register of deceased soldiers, volume 4. According to several sites, Gleason was buried at

Annapolis National, however, Annapolis has no record of a that burial. The cemetery was physically checked for a tombstones. Military file reveals no information regarding disposition of

the body. The only actual reference that I have to his death is an inventory of his belongings and mention in the Record of the First Michigan Infantry (brown book), that he died of measles

at Annapolis Junction. If anyone might have information or an idea where to look next, I would greatly appreciate it.

thanks
