I am looking for information / photographs of James Green who served in the 22nd Michigan Infantry: C Company. James enlisted in the regiment on on March 18, 1865 in Pontiac, MI (Oakland Co.) at the age of 26 years as a Private rank. He contracted the small pox early on in his military career and spent most of his service in various hospitals. James was eventually discharged from military duties on July 17, 1865 due to “eye sight affection.” I am interested in any information anybody may have of James Green.
