The Colon Museum is looking for a photograph of Joseph Brandle (birth -- Oct. 8, 1839; death -- May 13, 1909), a private in Company C, 17th Michigan Volunteer Infantry. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions Nov. 16, 1863, during a battle in Lenoire, Tenn. The photo would be used in a display honoring local residents who have served in the military. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
