Sgt Silas N. Foster (Company C - 21st Michigan Infantry) died 31 May 1912 and is buried in the Blair Cemetery in Blair, Nebraska. Blair is 20 miles north of Omaha and is located in Washington County, Nebraska.

I'm writing a history of Civil War Veterans buried in Washington County and would appreciate any additional information on Sgt Foster. The local records indicate that he was born 24 Jun 1845. In addition, he was residing in Carlton, Michigan when he enlisted 10 Aug 1862.
