i collect 19th century documents and have come upon a file on the death of DAVID BIRRELL, 2ND LT. CO. K, 24TH MICH. INF.
the documents are dated december, 1862 and attest to the death of LT. BIRRELL, three miles below FREDERICKSBURG, VA.
they are signed by, MAJOR HENRY W. NALL and LT. COL. MARK FLANIGAN.
i would like to get a photo of these men. does anyone out there have such photo's or know where i might obtain them.
