I am happy to hear that the cemetery has been restored. When we visited it it was a disgrace. Was the woman who restored it named Janet St. Onge? I have a newspaper article about her and her determination to identify her aunt's grave on behalf of her mother.
I would be more than happy to assist in having Pascal's remains reinterred. Let me know what I can do. Perhaps a petition signed by family members would help. I have 6 siblings, one son and 7 nieces & nephews and I know of one other descendant.
You probably already know this, but in case you don't, the State of Michigan has been putting all of its Civil War documents and pictures online at Seeking Michigan.com. I found Pascal Odette's muster roll dated 12/30/1861. It is document 19 and he is listed on line 51. I have thought of sending in his photo for the site.
I hope you are able to find Genevieve's photo. I would love to see it.
