I will be going up to the Girard, Branch County MI area in a few weeks to visit my uncle in Coldwater.

Our common ancestor (my ggg-uncle) Pvt. John N. Demarest, Co. C, 19th Michigan Infantry is buried in the Girard cemetery and needs a new gravemarker from the VA. His original one is facing west and has been abraded pretty badly since 1863 (almost illegible now).

Could you please give me some names/ph. #s/email addresses of Michigan SUVCW members in/near Branch County I can interact with re this?
