The Michigan in the Civil War Message Board

A list of the soldiers and officers and some information about them can be found at Ancestry.com in the database "American Civil War Soldiers". Fill in the name of someone you know was in the regiment and that will take you to his information. Under "Service Record" follow the link "Stanton Guards Regiment Michigan". That will take you to a short overview of the regimental history and a link that leads to the soldiers and officers that made up the Stanton Guard. You need a subscription to get into Ancestry.com, but most libraries have one, or perhaps a friend interested in genealogy does!
