Charles W. Austin, Co. A 5th Michigan Cavalry

I am hoping to obtain information on my Great (3x) Uncle, Private Charles W. Austin of the 5th Michigan Cavalry. Family research indicates that Charles enlisted at Waterford, Michigan at age 19 and served for three years. He was mustered in on August 26, 1862 and taken prisoner at Trevillian Station, Virginia on June 11, 1864. He was honorably discharged at Tripler Hospital on May 25, 1865. He was reportedly living in Flint, Michigan in 1887.

Thanks much!
