My Great great grandfather, Sydney Peters was in Co. G of the 10th Michigan. He was from Eaton Co., and the Charlotte, MI public library has some records of the 10th as well. Also, you might check out http://www.michiganinthewar.org/cavalry/10cav.htm for a regimental history.
