8th Mich. Inf. - Daniel W. Keyes Jr. d. dysentery?

Hi Kim -

thanks for your postings!!!! Yes, I have the CSR for Daniel W. Keyes, Jr. and the widow's pension docs filed by his wife.

It looks like he died of dysentery/diarrhea shortly after returning home to Tekonsha, Calhoun Co. MI while on leave.

Don't have my info in front of me here at work, but I think he died on April 1, 1864. He is buried in the Riverside Cemetery, Tekonsha next to his parents.

Any and all info, etc. you might have on him in your files and willing to share would be VERY greatly appreciated...!!!

I can copy and snailmail you all of my docs on D.W.K. jr. if you are interested as well? Please let me know?

thanks once again,
