RE: Casey's post... I am also related to the A. Judson Smith of Connecticut. He was my Great-great Grandfather through his daughter, Etta (Henrietta) by Ophelia Pyott (?).

He was born in New York (Oneida County?) about 1841, served i the 127th NY Volunteer infantry (the "Monitors") in the Civil War, moved to Connecticut before 1870, married 3 times (Ophelia, Mary Hand, and Augusta Blomberg), and died in 1915 in Branford, CT.
