I am looking for information about Joseph Fought who was attched to Custer's staff in the summer of 1863 as a bugler. References to his writings about Custer can be found in the book "The Custer Story" The Life and Letters of Gen. George Armstrong Custer and his wife Elizabeth. Ed. Marguerita Merington. I am particularly interested in finding out if Fought wrote anything about the Battle of Williamsport 7-6-63.
