We just found out my husband's great grandfather, Martin D. Ellis, served with the 4th MI Infantry (2nd organization)We are trying to find where he may be buried and if he has a headstone. (he lived in Hillsdale) We live on the Miss Gulf Coast, and it is almost impossible to look for his grave. I would appreciate any information anyone may be able to share with me.
