1st Michigan L. A. Batt "B" and cribbage board

Hi All,

My great-great-grandfather fought with the 1st Michigan Light Artillery, Battery "B" and was part of Sherman's "March to the Sea." Are there any known images of this group? Any biographical info beyond basic troop movements available? Have checked a few local archives without success. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I have a hand carved cribbage board that says "5th S.C." with a palmetto carved in it. Guess it could have been made in camp or prison. Purchased it years ago from a well known collector. If anyone is interested in this relic, send me an email or leave a message. Will email pictures or send for inspection.

Thanks in advance.

Regards, John
