It seems that the concerns on the 30th Infantry have been answered. I have been researching the 4th Michigan Infantry for over twenty-five years, now along with Kim Crawford (The 16th Michigan, Published by Morningside Inc.) are now in the final leg of the 4th history, once done I will devote my full energy to a new project. I have already set my sites on a Michigan regimental history. The 18th Michigan Infantry will be next journey I will undertake, I have been gathering information on the regiment for the last few years. I see by your email that you had an ancestor in the 18th Michigan Infantry; Any information that you can add would be greatly welcomed Best Marty
