I realize the last post was in 2005, I am hoping to revive an update forum for the 30th. I am new at this but found an interest since I've discovered two ancesters (brothers) who fought in this war. One was part of the 30th in Co D his name was Herbert E. Stout, served Nov. 30, 1864 to June 30, 1965. His brother however entered the war 1n 1862 in Co E 18th Regment. This site has nothing on the 18th either. Any info or direction would be appreciated. Thanks so much.
