I believe the Rev. Francis Lister Hawks served at Calvary Church, NY, but in 1862 moved to Christ Church in Baltimore. Looks like he served at Christ Church from 1862 - 1865, then returned to NY. I have a diary from an ancestor who lived in Baltimore in 1862; he writes on Sunday, October 26, 1862 that he heard the Rev. Dr. Hawks at Christ Church. On November 23, he wrote: "Went to Christ Church at eleven A.M. and heard the Rev. Dr. Hawks preach to a great crowd on “Learn of Me.”"
