In Magnolia Cemetery, Augusta, Ga., is a small (16 grave) section used to bury Federal soldiers who died in Augusta during the war, or during the Fdederal occupation of the city 1865-66.

Among those buried in the section is the following Maryland Federal solider:

John Larrimore, F/9 MD, died 19 March 1864; buried Grave 3, Row 1.

The cemetery is in perpetual care and the graves are meticulously maintained.
