Any desc of Md. Edelen/Edelin/Edlens here?

Hello my brethren,
My gr gr grandfather Joseph Benidict Edelen was a Lt. in the pre war Maryland Militia. When Lincoln had it disbanded and declared Martial Law in Maryland, appointing a Military Governor, he and his company crossed the Potomac and joined the CSA. The wound up being Co. "H"("Washington Vols"), 7th Virginia Infantry, CSA. I know of other Edelens/Edelins (we are all one and the same line) that served in Maryland units and other States' units.

So I was wondering if any fellow Edelens/Edelins/Edlens are here?!? If so, lets hear from you, who your Confederate ancestor was, etc.. As for the spellings of our name, we are all the same line. My name, Edelen, is mispelled at work, on the sign in roster, etc, on a daily basis. My supervisors consistently spell it Edelin, Edelan, Edlan, etc.
Later,
Dave
