Colonel David McIntosh

I am looking for information about Colonel David McIntosh of Maryland. He commanded the Pee Dee Artillery early in the war, then commanded an artillery battalion from Gettyburg through Appomattox with the Army of Northern Virgina. He lost five guns and many men at Bristoe Station, Virgina 10/14/1863. He wrote an interesting account of the battle of Gettysburg and a copy of his detailed diary of April, 1865 is at the United States Army Historical Center at Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

Regards,
Manassas
