Looking for grave of Pvt. Jos. Benidict Edelen

Hello all,
My g.g.grandfather was Joseph Benidict Edelen, who was first a 1st lieutenant with Co "H" ("Washington Volunteers") in the Maryland Guard Zuaves or something like that, which was a prewar militia or something. When Lincoln imprisoned the Maryland legislature and had the Maryland Militia disbanded, his company crossed the Potomac and wound up being Co. "H" (again, the "Washington Vols"), 7th Virginia Infantry.

I have been to St. Mary's Church Cem in Piscataway where a lot of my people are buried, but he is not there. His parents, and some of his descendents, but not him. I have heard that like in the 1880s or so the Confederate Pension records show him living in Fairfax, Va, but have yet to find anything on him.

Any help or ideas on how to find his grave would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
David Middleton Edelen II
