Does anyone have acess to a list of members of the 3rd Battery Maryland Artillery ( Cofederate )who were paroled at Vicksburg ? I've an ancestor, Jackson C. Simmons that joined this unit in East Tennessee, was paroled at Vicksburg, failed to report to " parole camp, " and joined the Union 3rd Tenn Mtd Inf on July 4, 1864. Unless there is some strange spelling of his name, I fail to find him listed among those paroled at Vicksburg.
