I am looking for information on my GGF, William Thomas Rogers(Rodgers). He was born in Maryland(so I have been told) about 1844. I do not know anything regarding parentage, where he was from. Rumor, he came down from North after Civil War. He settled in Woodville, Wilkinson County, Mississippi. I am trying to find out if he served in a Union or Confederate unit. Any help greatly appreciated!
