I have an old ribbon that has ::

OTIS CHAPMAN
W.R.C.
No. 50
CHICOPEE MASS

It has a picture of the ribbon of WRC and the Maltese Cross hanging with the date of 1883. Can anyone identify it.?

I had one grandfather, Isaac Ocheltree of VA the went with the Union and the other of my family went with the Confederacy.

I also live in a town that had a GAR Old Soldiers Home. It was named Mother Bickerdyke's Home for the widows..upon the hill behind the area is a cemetery with 16 white markers and 16 women name on the main tall memorial. It is located in Ellsworth County KS..and the monument was erected in 1960 by the Kansas Historical Society..

Does this mean anything to any of the readers ?? I have pictures of the cemetery. Thanks.
