Dennis..... As far as I can tell Kansas did not have a Veteran Reserve Corps. However, there are some references by soldiers and ex-officers who did join the Veteran Reserve Corps and served in Washington D.C. from Kansas. Specifically, Captain Napoleon Bonaparte Blanton, 10th Kansas Infantry resigned due to disability but later thanked Sidney Clarke, a Kansas political figure, for helping get soldiers into the VRC.

I also show some transfers to the VRC although a limited number from the 10th Kansas in their rosters.

Interesting question.
