David.... The original rosters of the 6th Kansas have to be sifted out from rosters of the 3rd Kansas, which are hard to locate. The best is in the Kansas Adjutant General's revised bienniel report, which I have copied in full. This will only give you Company C, Captain Zacheus Gower's company and Company I, Captain Van Sickle's company.

Van Sickle's company was moved from 3rd Kansas to the 6th Kansas. Gower's company was moved from the Home Guard to the 3rd Kansas and then mustered out.
