I came across a mention of Thomas Moonlight singing a song called "Cruiskeen Lawn" ("Cruiscin Lan" in Irish
which means - The Little Full Jug). It appears to be a drinking song and I have noted at least one mention of this song as being popular with soldiers. I have aslo noted that a Robert Burns song "Annie Laurie" has been mentioned as being popular in the Civil War. Does anyone know of those and other such songs?
