OK folks - sorry for the delay but I just got back over there yesterday and got the info for you. These are all regulation markers and they consist of 2 rows of graves in the middle of this little, lonely cemetary on the plains of eastern Kansas.
It is as follows:

DAN'L BODLEY
CO K

CORP'L B.A. WORLEY
CO F

JNO HOLDEN
CO B

JESSE NEWLAND
CO B

J.C. MORTON
CO K

C.C. BROWN
CO C

J.B. THROCKMORTON
CO C

JAMES KNOOP
CO B

DAN'L SELLERS
CO C

On all of the above stones is also the inscription;
5TH U.S. CAVALRY

There are 12 other stones with only the inscription:
U.S. SOLDIER

There is one additional stone among these that says:
I.J.CURTIS
CO B
52ND ILL INF

There are no dates or any other inscription or decorations on the stones. The graves are still decorated every Memorial day with flowers and a small flag.

Hope this helps out someone in a search - if you are interested I would be happy to show anyone where this cemetary is at as it is rather isolated and hard to find.

Dean
