Mine Creek Battle area research

Hello,
I have 80 acres several miles s/e of the Mine Creek battlesite - about 5 miles east of Prescott.
There is no record of a house ever being on this property however I have been finding items which lead me to think it may have been occupied at one time or possibly an encampment.
There is a low, stone wall that appears to have been hastily put up a very long time ago as it has large trees growing through it.
There are also several depressions all in a row down in the woods - woods that may or may not have been there at the time of the battle.
My question is this - in researching all available (as far as I know anyway) books on the subject I cannot find an accurate mapping of Price's retreat from this battle. Now I can see the general area of retreat and even some of the scirmishes that occurred as rear guard actions but what I need - if available - is something more detailed in the area of southern Linn county / northern Bourbon county area.
FYI - I have just begun to use a metal detector on the property and have come up with several wagon parts and what appears to be part of lunette from a cannon carriage.
Any direction you folks can point me in would be appreciated.
Thanks for your time.
Dean
