Heard Graham is now in (on his way) to Denver. Will try to call you today. Came across a reference to James Baldwin, 10th Kansas, was so prostrated from his wound at Dry Wood Creek, he was hospitalized and mustered out.

I have located two references to Obediah (Obed) Smith and his sons being guides to Lane's Kansas Brigade into Osceola in September 1861. A later reference to Obediah Smith indicated he remained in the area only to be killed by William Quantrill. Does anyone have information on this individual?

Thanks,
Howard Mann
