Jerry.... I have copies of General Blunt's military records which show that his physician clearly felt that he was affected by sunstroke during the 1863 campaign near Fort Smith. I am interested in any material you have concerning officers of the Indian Brigade that came from the 10th Kansas Infantry. I can go back to my sources and name many of them, i.e. Major John Foreman, Hospital Steward Daniel Chandler, Quartermaster Alfred Lazalere, etc. if needed but am looking for materials on men who served with the 10th Kansas Infantry and/or Lane's Brigade in 1861-2 (3rd, 4th and 5th Kansas).

I have acquired numerous military and some pension records of many of the officers of the 10th Kansas.

Also, if you are looking for specific material on your area of interest that I may have run across, I would be happy to share.

Thanks,
Howard Mann
