Hello to all who are members of this board,

I'll be returning to Oklahoma from Spokane, Washington where I currently reside at the end of the month. For those of you who are interested, I will be having two book signings while I'm back home. I'm actually coming back for my 25th high school reunion. (Go Claremore!) However, instead of sitting around all week counting gray hairs on my fellow alumni's heads, (Man, we are getting old.) I decided to do something fun. Thursday night, October 2nd, I will be presenting a slide show on the second battle of Cabin Creek at the Vinnie Ream Cultural Center located at 1110 West Canadian in Vinita, Oklahoma. Following my presentation, I'll be signing copies of my book "Brilliant Victory: The Second Civil War Battle of Cabin Creek, Indian Territory" at a very special reduced price. It will be the kick-off event for the 140th anniversary "Battles of Cabin Creek" reenactment to be held September 24, 25, and 26, 2004 near Pensacola, Oklahoma.

Then on Saturday, October 4th, I'll be doing another book signing at Har-Ber Village located just south of Grove, Oklahoma. I'll be signing books from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. However, if you don't want to see me, come and enjoy Har-Ber Village. It's the village's "Celebration of History" month and they are opening the village for FREE from 12 Noon to 6:00 PM to all who want to come up and see the village's collection of antiques. As I recall, they have quite a little Civil War collection.

So if you have nothing better to do, come and let meet you and shake your hand.
