Yes. On ancestry I have traced them back to Ireland as Seavers. I assumed that Saviers was hard to spell so it was corrupted as Seavers. I found a series of wills mentioning each generation. I wasn't aware of the step father. The family was listed as tennants of Lord Fairfax on a tract surveyed by a party that included George Washington.
Search for Patterson Creek Manor. Charles Savours and Nicholas Seavours are listed as settlers in the "Early Land Grants and Settlers Along Patterson Creek" entry.
