My interest is purely historical. I have transcribed into a file the letters of Sergeant Warren Day of the same regiment who was on detached duty at the time the regiment was mustered out to the IHG. I am curious if there are similarities in the two discharges. There were a number of Berry's that I have been following who were on both sides. Most of them were from along the Kansas-Missouri Border.
