Can anyone give me the name of a good source for background material on Camp Hunter near Humboldt Kansas during ther civil war. Need information on the camp itself; units stationed there; its' part in the civil war in the west and after til 1880's; any journals written by soldiers stationed there etc. Thank you for your help.
