Bruce: Just stumbled across you response to the inquiry regarding Col. John T. Coffee.

Coffee did in fact participate in the Price Raid as a regimental commander, first in Jackman's Bde, and later in Tyler's. The activities of the regiment during the raid are rather obscure, but it went through the raid and made it to Texas, where it apparently disbanded.
