Gen. Blunt-false teeth

In a book covering the history of Delaware Co., OK, entitled "Heritage of the Hills" is a recollection of an incident at Old Fort Wayne, Oct 62. It was recalled by one of the Thompson daughters whose log home General Blunt stayed in the night of 22 Oct 62. The next morning Blunt left, but left behind his false teeth, the Thompson family held onto them until sometime that day a soldier returned for them. My question is did General Blunt actually have false teeth?
