Delaware and Kichai

Can anyone provide sources for information on a band of Delaware and Kichai from Kansas who were raiding into the northern Cherokee Nation and western Missouri in late 1862 and early 1863? A band of Kichai was reported encamped near Coody's Bluff (near present Nowata OK on the Verdigris) in January 1863. The Delaware and Kichai were blamed for murders and scalpings in the area. It was also reported they were stealing cattle and selling them to government contractors in Kansas. Many of the stolen cattle belonged to members of the 2nd and 3rd Indian Home Guard (US). In Annie Able's "American Indian in the Civil War", she mentions the Indian Office asking Jim Ned to refrain from such raiding in early 1863. I'm looking for additional sources about these raids, particularly in Dec 1862 through Feb 1863.
