Tom,

Thank you so much for the information. My great great grandfather was Cornelius Hunt, he was in Co. G, 100th Indiana. I have his records from the National Archives. It states that he died on January 30, 1864 in Calhoun, Tn, at the camp hospital. But I don't see a name of the Hospital. I can't find any burial for him in Indiana. What I'm trying to find out is if a soldier's body wasn't sent home, where were they buried. Because his death was at a camp hospital I thought there maybe a certain protocol that was followed. Cornelius enlisted at Pine Village, IN. The family was living in Warren Co. He had 2 children, his wife Susan had died after giving birth to their 2nd child.

Is there any mention of him in any of your books?? Also are there any photos of the 100th Indiana?

Thanks again for your help
Bobbie Brady
